Peril is an incredible dog. Beautiful and driven, he started his conformation career with a bang winning multiple Best Baby Puppy in Show!
He quickly finished his Canadian CH, including some wins over beautiful specials dogs, multiple best puppy in group, and multiple group placements.
He then knocked off his Grand Champion including winning a Dalmatian booster and then finishing with a Group 1.
Next, we focused on his AKC Championship. He finished with 4 straight Majors, once again finishing with a flourish by taking Best of Breed from the classes in a robust entry of 20 Dalmatians! He will now take a break from Conformation to focus on performance sports.
Peril is an outstanding performance dog. He walked into the Rally ring as a young dog and walked out with a perfect score from his first ever run. He has now finished his Rally Excellent and has been working on his focus while he prepares for the Obedience ring and for his BH. His first entry into Obedience earned him a High in Trial!
Peril has begun his weight pull career and is frequently pulling his max weight allowed! He has finished his United Weight Pull Championship and we are working on his next titles now.
Personality
Peril is a very high-octane dog. He is on the far end of the spectrum for energy and reminds us very much of Random (but with testosterone!). He is ALWAYS up for an adventure. He is more of a one-person dog and quite disinterested in strangers. He is very protective of the house & farm but still trustworthy with visitors and friends. He LOVES to work and learn and will soon be my best obedience dog.
